Sunset at Ponte Vecchio

Sunset at Ponte Vecchio - Florence Travel - @lacegraceblog1

There is so much to do in Florence, Italy. She has tons of museums, art exhibits, shops and restaurants. You could spend weeks in this city and not see everything.  Florence was a whirlwind for us, we seemed to go from one site to another from early morning until night. One evening we found ourselves beside the Arno River, right before sunset at Ponte Vecchio. There was something so calm and mesmerizing about it, we could see why it’s a must see for tourists and locals alike.

Ponte Vecchio is a medieval bridge over Florence’s Arno River.  It was built in in 1345 and has shops along each side. We all window shopped and wandered around before watching the sunset.
