A Morning at Centennial Park, Nashville

20160530-Photo May 30, 10 46 05 AMAfter a long night of Honky Tonky-ing in Nashville, (more on that to come) we decided to sleep in, have a drawn out breakfast and abandoned our original efforts to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. We grabbed coffee (highly recommend the iced coconut cream latte & the hot orange lavender latte form Frothy Monkey) and hopped in an Uber to take us to Centennial Park.  Centennial Park is a large urban park located right near Vanderbilt University.  It boasts a beautiful lake (Lake Watauga) with walking paths and beautiful landscaping.  Probably the coolest and most random thing about the park is the real life sized replica of the Parthenon. (recap of when I saw the real one in Athens, Greece- here)  We walked along the paths awing at the blooming magnolia trees and planted flowers before heading to our next stop,  Pinewood Social! See what we did the previous day in Nashville at ACME Feed and Seed, here
