As I have previously mentioned (here), I LOVE Bonefish Grill. Like really really love Bonefish Grill. It is one of the few chain restaurants that I frequently visit and recommend to my friends and family. Bonefish Grill recently released their fresh new spring menu and I was excited to give it a try.
I started off with a fresh Grapefruit Martini- made with fresh grapefruit, basil, vodka infusion, finished with fresh pressed ruby red grapefruit juice + a hint of basil. It was so refreshing and perfect for warmer weather.
It’s not a visit to Bonefish Grill without Bang-Bang Shrimp, so ordering our appetizer was a no brainer. For our entrees, we picked delicious items off of the spring menu. I went with the Bacon Butter Jam Norwegian Salmon topped with a savory Jim Beam bacon Butter with a side of fresh green beans and potatoes au gratin (my fav!) I just love the way the salmon has that wood grilled taste; and that bacon butter jam- omg! The hubs went with a new fish we had never heard of before- Cobia. The Rockefeller Atlantic Cobia (a moist firm white fish with a sweet rich flavor) is wood grilled and topped with creamy spinach and lump crab meat. This dish was amazing and the epitome of fresh. For dessert, feeling in the warm weather mood, we chose the Fresh Strawberry Shortcake-Seasonal strawberries on top of a shortcake biscuit, whipped cream + crème anglaise. Yum!
