Homemade Basil Pesto

Pesto is one of those ingredients that immediately catches my attention on a menu; especially when used as a spread on a sandwich.  After having a bunch of leftover Basil from making homemade pizzas a few weekends ago, I decided to try and make my very own basil pesto.  Pesto is so easy to make and perfect to freeze (in ice trays) and store for later use.
