I posted all about Nikki’s wedding morning here, (and her other wedding festivities here, here, here & here) and although I did not take a ton of pictures after leaving the hotel, I wanted to share some snippets of the venue, decor and fun on the dance floor. Nikki & Dakotah tied the knot at the Corinthian Ballroom in Downtown Roanoke, VA. The venue was historic and glamorous… it even had an old school elevator with elevator man and all. The peach, black and silver details worked together perfectly.
The ceremony incorporated the Bride and Groom’s separate religious beliefs beautifully; I have to admit I was crying the whole time.
For the reception we headed upstairs to the ballroom and had a delicious meal. The spread included everything from beef tenderloin, smoked salmon to a pasta bar! Nikki switched out of her wedding dress into a beautiful, comfortable, slinky white gown; perfect for breaking it down on the dance floor. The drinks, dancing and laughter were flowing all night long. (the selfie stick made an appearance!) The night at the Corinthian Ballroom ended with a sparkler exit before all the kids headed to a nearby bar, Billy’s. What an amazing day full of celebration and love. Congrats once again to the Brecher’s! May you have a lifetime of happiness! Love you both!
