Quick Bite at Market Street Fusion

Last Friday Maria, Lisa and I decided to try out a new spot in Downtown Frederick, Market Street Fusion. I was pretty devastated when the previous restaurant, Griff’s closed down (so many memories!) but was excited to give Market Street Fusion a try!
We visited around 9PM on a Friday so we opted to make our focus the drinks, naturally. I looked over the impressive signature cocktail lists and with the waiters help, decided on the Blackberry Rose {gin, lemon, fresh blackberry w/ rosemary} and I have to say I was in love. Lisa, grabbed the Johnny Merlot {Johnny Walker w/ honey + lemon topped with Merlot} which would be a great choice for bourbon lovers everywhere! Maria snagged the Kentucky Smash which was equally as tasty consisting of fresh muddled cherries, ginger, bitters, lime juice and Knob Creek Bourbon.
We all shared the crab fondue which I assumed would just be crap dip but no, it was definitely fondue-ish! (cheese lovers rejoice!) with large pieces of crab meat. The crostinis were perfect for dipping.
For dinner I ordered the Brew Burger and it did not disappoint with a 8oz Angus Beef patty with bacon marmalade, beer braised onions, arugula, aioli, and chimay cheese on a house-made bun – served with hand cut fries. It was the perfect size, fresh, unique and exactly what I was craving.
Of course I ordered another drink during dinner, the Absolutely Hot which was Muddled Cucumber + Jalapeno w/ house pressed pineapple juice and vodka. Delish!
Overall I loved what the owner(s) of Market Street Fusion have done with the place. The whole industrial/ rustic look is totally up my alley. The exposed brick and and modern lighting made for a wonderful ambiance. The food I ordered was great and the drinks amazing. Now… have you checked out their brunch menu? I need some of the smoked salmon eggs Benedict in my life! (and the rosemary biscuits and gravy and some juice from the fresh juice bar….)
Thanks for a great time Market Street Fusion! Check out some more pics below.
