Joint Bridal Shower Brunch!

I had the most amazing brunch experience in Georgetown not to long ago. A few of us girls are tying the knot on the leadership team of one of our Employee Resource Group at work.   To celebrate, our friend Bree organized a brunch Bridal Shower/Engagement party to celebrate!

We ended up going to Sequoia which was right along the water. It had an all you can eat brunch with bottomless mimosas. You can’t go wrong with that!
Bree brought balloons and little decorations to spruce up our table and make us feel special. She also wrapped bottles of champagne for each of us with our wedding colors! How sweet and adorable!
Now on to the food. This food was SOOO good! I will feel like a country bumpkin for saying this but I do not think I have ever had brunch in DC. Really, I haven’t done much ‘brunching’ at all. But after this, I think I will be heading out for some more Sunday Fundays in the near future.
The spread at Sequoia was very impressive. They had of course all the normal brunchy things such as; eggs, bacon, waffle & omelet bars but also a build your own eggs Benedict and build your own pasta bar. They also had a full raw bar which Wade and I took full advantage of.

I am a weirdo who will eat from the salad bar (in addition!) no matter how many good things are available and the fresh fruit and veggies they had in the spread were delicious!

Before I was stuffed to the gills, I found in the corner a make your own DONUTS section! You could pick your toppings and fillings and they fry the donuts right in front of you. I chose cinnamon and sugar and that bad boy was amazing!

After brunch we hung out outside for a bit along the waterfront and took tons of pictures of course. It was such a great time and I definitely cannot wait to hit this spot up again!
Thanks Bree for making this so fun and special, Liz, Kathleen and I really appreciate it!
