Homemade Mashed Potatoes

My mom makes these wonderful party potatoes every christmas and I cannot get enough of them! I decided to make them for our Girlsgiving a few weeks ago and I think they came out great.  Since I prepared the dish and waited to stick in the oven until an hour before we wanted to eat, I forgot to take an end result picture.  🙁
Here is the recipe:
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 8oz. sour cream
1 t. garlic salt
1 t. garlic powder
2 T. butter
1 t. paprika
1/4 grated cheese
Pare and cook potatoes in salt water.
Drain mash, beat in cream cheese and sour cream until light and fluffy.
Beat in garlic salt and powder.
Pile into 2 qt. casserole.
Dot with butter and sprinkle paprika and cheese.
 Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour.

I love these things! I look forward each Christmas when my makes them.  I know a lot of people are fans of the simply potato and butter mashed potatoes, but I like my mashed potatoes creamy!
This recipe is a must and super easy to make!
