New Eats!
Since Tuesday {July 3rd} felt like a Friday, Wade and I decided to try out the fairly new Roasthouse Pub on Urbana Pike.  Every time we pass by the joint, the parking lot is packed; also this is the longest a restaurant has been opened it seems in that building, so it HAS to be good right?
It looked like it was about to down pour when we arrived.  We saw a sign on the door that said they were closing at 8pm. {we got there a little past 7} Turns out the power company was making them turn off their electricity for some reason.

The atmosphere of the place was awesome. Very comfy and pub like, but clean and crisp inside.  We had a coupon for a free appetizer with 2 entrees and were very happy when our waitress allowed us to use it with just the purchase of sandwiches.
The waitress helped me pick out a beer out of the 20+ they had on tap.  I got the Appalachian Purist Pale Ale and Wade the Flying Dog Snake Dog.

For our appitizer we ordered Roasted Red Pepper Queso with basically a whole wheel of brie cheese on top.  IT WAS AMAZING. Even Wade was in heaven {and he isn’t much of a cheese person} the red peppers and the smokey taste really made it special.  You must try it!

After scarfing that down, our food came.  I ordered an Avacado, Brie {figures}, tomato and chipotle mayo sandwich on a ciabatta roll, panini style. It was very good but I should have thought through the whole brie on my appitizer brie on my sandwich thing.  It was cheese over load {dare I say it!?} The side of roasted potatoes was amazing and comes with every sandwich.

Wade order a ‘gobbler’ sandwich. {Turkey, Cranberry sauce, melted brie and arugla} He loved it and let me have a bite. It was amazing.  He went to take a bite of mine and threw my sandwich a little to hard and some sauce got on dress… thanks Wade!

Before ‘last call’ we ordered one more beer. I got a Boulevard Tank and Wade got the Snake Dog again.  We were the last ones at a table and chugged the rest of our beers and headed out.

We had a great time at the Roasthouse Pub. Like I said before, great atmosphere, fun staff, GREAT food and lots of beers to choose from! We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back with our friends!
